This is one in a series of peony paintings. The beauty of these flowers are undeniable and its a rare treat when I get some fresh ones in the house. I like the thought of having them around all the time in a painting. 

This painting has a hand made frame of simple yet elegant raw wood. All that is needed is a small nail or thumb tack to hang it on your wall.
